Everytime I see/hear about some of the crap that Nintendo manages to shift, a little bit of the gamer in me dies everytime...

Anyway, just 5 days til my Amnon gets here for Xmas ;_; WE ARE GOING TO GO BOXING DAY SHOPPING TOGETHER. ARE WE MAD?? MOST LIKELY. I can remember some of the ques for the clothes shops in Bluewater last boxing day...But alas, it is all part of his first Xmas experience! (they don't celebrate it in Israel.) But for the most part, I think we are going to be snuggling up at home, this weathers just too damn cold for me :B

Finished Halo 3 last week. Amazing game. But the ending was kind of sad, poor Master Chief :(

And I finally have Halo 3: ODST now. My uncle gave it to me last night. He'd bought it for himself, but he told me that he didn't like it and that he thought it was crap. Is he mad?!?! I started playing it this morning and have practically been on it all day- it's great and addictive to boot. If you like any of the other Halo games (which my uncle does) I can't see why you wouldn't like ODST. Baffling 0_o

Not long til Christmas, yesssss. Amnon's coming over on the 24th for 4 days, I can't wait. He's definitely gonna leave fatter than when he came, with all my nan's Christmas cooking and all the treats we have in the house for Xmas...Fat time, hoorayyyy.

AHHHHHHHHHH, MY MUM JUST WALKED IN FROM WORK AND SHE BOUGHT ME HALO WARS!
I seriously need to finish Halo 3 when I go home for Christmas, gahhhh, I want to play it so much right now.
Then I just need to buy Halo Wars and Halo: ODST. My Christmas money is really not going to last long. It's practically spent already.

Nearly finished all my packing for when I head back to London on Wednesday. What a nightmare. Being me, I bought more clothes whilst I was out here, and so have more to take back with me than what I came with. Not very smart, seeing as my suitcase is always full up when I come here.

I'm cravinggg chocolate right now, and we don't have a single bit in the apartment. And I have no money on me whatsover. I guess I will have to settle for CHOCOLATE MILK. I'm definitely not touching the ice cream that's been in the freezer for about 10 years or the stale waifers on top of the fridge. What a bunch of interesting treats we have in this place. Can't wait to raid my mum's cupboards and fridge when I get home. She will think a swarm of locusts have passed through the place.

I have not been on here in ages; I have been too preoccupied playing games (seriously, sooo many good games have come out recently, and this year altogether, and more coming, fuck yeah!)
I completed Doom 3, Batman Arkham Asylum (amazing game, btw, one of the best this year, in fact), and am just about to finish up Prototype (addictive+awesome=Prototype.) Also playing Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, which is as funny as I thought it would be.

But damn...I desperately want to start playing Dragon Age: Origins. Amnon got it as soon as it came out, and I've been watching him playing it- it is something to behold. Very developed and intricate storylines, great character interactions (STEN THE BADASS FTW), and sooo many quests to do. A friend of mine who is also playing it has 70 hours of play, and yet has only 45% completed it. I like long games.
I'm going back to London on Dec 2nd to spend Christmas with the family, and coming back to Israel in January, so I probably won't get to start it til then (though I am an incredibly impatient person, and may be tempted to buy it for the 360 when I get home so I can play it then..however, I do think it's one of those games that is much better to play on the PC...when I've watched Amnon playing it, I have thought that it looks as though it would be very awkward to play on a console...kinda like trying to play Command and Conquer on a console, eurghhh.)

Also: I NOW HAVE GAMING BLOG: http://phdintea.blogspot.com/ If you want to read about someone WHINGING and MAKING A PRAT OF THEMESELVES whilst playing games, this is the BLOG FOR YOU.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gaming aside, life has been a rollercoaster lately, of extreme goods and extreme bad's. Mostly family and relationship difficulties. I know I have issues, and I'm trying to work on them, but it's so hard...I just have no control of my emotions sometimes, and it gets me into so much shit, and causes so many problems...some that I don't know if they can ever be fixed...and it scares me. Certain things could certainly be screwed for good now. I really do just want a life of loneliness sometimes, it seems like everything would be so much better, so much easier. Sometimes I think other people just aren't good for my health. I don't know.

Can't wait to see my family for Christmas, regardless. Can't wait to eat food I've really missed that you can't get over here (pies and roast dinners lol), can't wait to see my dog, my aunts cats, to go wandering around central London in all the comic and book shops, drink a nice hot chocolate from Starbucks whilst I'm at it...of course, it's going to be hard without Amnon about, but I have some consolation in that he's coming over to London for 4 days at Christmas. It will be the first time he's ever experienced Christmas, so it's going to be really nice doing everything with him. Might even put myself through the torture of Boxing Day shopping.

I just couldn't resist taking a quick trip to Game Station yesterday just to see if they had a second hand one going cheap. I got it on the 360 for £10, I was so happy.
What I've played of it so far, I like (of course, being me, I've only really been playing as Sub-Zero and Scorpion, except for in story mode.) I beat arcade mode with Scorpion, I really like the fighting in it and love the Free Fall feature. I also started the story mode (I chose the MK side, har har.) It's alright...but at the moment it just seems very linear. Cut scene, fight, fight, cut scene. I haven't got too far into it, but I don't know if it's going to change. I totally jumped with excitement when Sub-Zero showed up though.
I think I'm going to go and beat up Batman now.

That's freaking all. Why is it so hard. I know happiness has to come within and all that, but I really think misery comes from being around other people. For me, guilt and indecision involving other people is a nightmare. Then there's the vicious cycle that involves family- you love them to bits and don't ever want to loose them, but being around them does your fucking head in, and sometimes just seems downright unhealthy. I don't know what I'm really trying to say here, but I've always found some relief in writing.

Oh, and I totally bought a Team Edward t-shirt today. I know, I know.
Ahhh, I can't stop listening to this song. Despite it being pretty serious, and quite sad, some parts really make me laugh. The part right at the end where he's talking to the dealer and he say's "I'm gonna go sniff this, I'll beep you in an hour. I hate you." for some reason cracks me up...then the part where he say's "Even if its good, I'll sniff it up in a minute, Beep you back and complain that you put too much cut in it, If you fall for that and bring me a new sack, I'll be making more crazy faces than a JIM CAREY on crack" just lolllllllllllllllllll, great lyrics. That part is even funnier if you see the video. The video is pretty shocking though, they filmed Necro's uncle for it who is a crack addict. Sad, but a reality for so many people.
Team Fortress is still my crack, I've gotten pretty good as Engineer! I have the record for longest life and most kills with him out of all the classes I've played. But dammit, those Spy's are relentless!
I am flying back to Israel on the 6 July for 3 months. I've got a night flight- I fucking hate night flights with a passion. Everyone is like 'O hai, night flights are good though, you get to sleep on them' Well, no you fucking don't, not me anyway. They're too damn uncomfortable to actually get any shut eye on, especially if there are any screaming babies about, and you end up looking like absolute shit when you get off of them. It's like going to sleep at night, then as soon as you wake up in the morning, going straight outside without being able to have a shower/sort your hair out/make yourself look somewhat decent. Just yuck.
But whinging aside, Amnon has his own apartment now in central Tel Aviv. A really awesome area too, not to mention there are lots of coffee shops on the street, which makes me very happy (Mmm, hot chocolate). Also, the beach is a short walk away, and I'm within walking distance of the only 2 comic shops I know of in Israel (hallelujah). I think I'm going to die in the heat over there though- the hot weather we've been having here lately is doing me in, and it's got nothing on the heat in Israel. Which reminds me, I really need to buy a hat for the sun, because I *always* get headaches. Gah.

In other news, Red grape juice, FUCK YEAH!

I am finally getting my haird dyed tomorrow (gingery-red kinda colour, what I usually have but a bit brighter) I haven't had it dyed in well over a year, and I've missed having it red. I'm probably gonna be heading to Israel again in July, so I wanted it done before then. I also ordered a badass t-shirt today XD Complete with a slight alteration of the famous Duke Nukem quote (replacing the 'Bubblegum' with 'tea' lol, how perfect for me) http://sharkrobot.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=65 So taking that to Israel with me, nyeh nyeh nyeh.

So I've just been playing TF2 on a really awesome Italian server, most fun I've had on TF2 in a while. When we ended up on the Granary map for a game of Capture Point, I decided to play as a Medic (and no one else was playing as one, so I thought I'd remedy that), and well, holy crap!! In all the time that I've played as Medic, I've never felt so useless for my lack on ability to be in more than one place at once!! EVERYONE always needed a medic constantly, everywhere!! I was having to run left, right and centre!! Now, don't take this as me complaining, on the contrary, I think it's the most fun I've ever had playing as Medic! It was pure chaos!! And damn, was my ÜberCharge going up fast, it was great. I grabbed a couple of screenshots of the chaos

If you look at the shoutbox, it was pretty much like that the entire time :3

I had just got killed, even I had needed a medic lol, BUT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!

I've started playing as Engineer quite a bit lately also, and i will say this- You fix and upgrade stuff by WHACKING IT WITH YOUR WRENCH!! THAT IS NOTABLE BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME! If only everything in life could be fixed with a good WHACK.
Needless to say, playing as Engineer is pretty fun ^_^
*skips off to la la la land with an Engineer holding each hand*

Gahh, Team Fortress is still owning me, I freakin love it. I've actually been playing as the Spy quite a bit lately, it's a lot of fun, even if you do need a lot more patience/caution compared to the other classes. Yesterday, i couldn't believe how many enemy medics I got to heal me when I was disguised!! Mwahaha, I felt so evil. I managed a few head shots and a bunch of back stabs (holy crap, I love backstabs), but there's still a bunch of crap I need to work on, particularly sapping enemy engineer's turrets. And the Spy's crab taunt?! DAMN, I THINK IT'S POSSIBLY THE BEST TAUNT IN THE GAME, I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING. Those crazy French.
The server I was playing on yesterday had quite a lot of Spanish people on it (or possibly Portugease? I'm sorry, I can't distinguish between the languages), and this one guy kept doing this HILARIOUS scream down his mic every so often (I'm guessing everytime he got killed) I was just like, wtf??! Lol, it was like he was being strangled, it just really tickled me. Then a few days ago, there was some crazy guy on another (British) server I was playing on, who kept saying 'lololololol' REALLY fast- where do these peple come from!?! It can only be the INTERNETS.
I've got a headset with a mic but have never bothered to use it, I think I'm gonna plug that sucker in today. I'm sure it must really beat typing 'sentry in the sewer' or whatever, which leaves me vulnerable for a few seconds. Definitely gonna sort that out today.
I also had to share these...
The first two were taken by me in-game, the others were by other people

'Spy sappin' mah...sandvich?

Heh heh heh

'o hai guys, do you think we need some more sentries?'.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, TEAM FORTRESS 2 IS LIKE CRACK!! I'M COMPLETELY ADDICTED!!!

SO I FINALLY got around to getting a Steam account, and with some of my b-day money I bought Team Fortress 2 (It was also on offer the weekend I got it, so I got it for £6.99 instead of £14 :) )
Needless to say, since I've had it, I've barely been off of it :s I'm particularly loving Capture the Flag and Payload. It's especially a lot of fun when you get put with a good team that works together. My favourite characters to play as are the Scout, Pyro and the Medic (YES, the MEDIC!! IT'S NICE BEING ABLE TO HELP PEOPLE, OKAY?!?! Especially when you get an Uber-Charge, heh heh heh :) <strike>and he's German. Damn, I love a German accent...</strike>) Also don't mind the Soldier and Heavy, but I play best as the other 3. I gave the Spy a go for the first time earlier, but sucked at it. I've been told it takes a bit of practice, so I have some work ahead of me, ho-hum. But seriously, I frickin' love the Scout and Medic. The Scout's defitnitely my fave. 'IM'A FORCE-A-NATURE!!'

Also, one has photos to post from anime expo on Saturday, but one cannot be bothered right now. Will do so soon. Probably. PROCRASTINATION FTW!!!11

Woe is me, I'm ill just in time for my birthday on Friday \( -_-)/ I have a bad throat, sore eyes, a blocked and runny nose and brain fog. Even just trying to move pictures into folders earlier was proving a challenge and just ended up stressing me out. Think I'm gonna take a nap after this. I'm in my bed right now, and have been reading TF comics to make myself feel better :3
I just finished reading Timelines Nightbeat (Cheap Shots), I enjoyed it. I think Nightbeat, Siren, Slag and Sludge make a nice team!! I would like to see more on these guys. Siren is great, I love that he's completely incapable of talking in an 'indoor voice', hahaha. And the panel with Nightbeat on page 16 saying "I can't believe I'm arguing with you about this. That was almost twenty cycles ago!" really amused me for some reason- I think it's his face and the futile gesture with his hand that did it for me.^_^ I wonder why they chose to do it in the smaller format (though I'm not too bothered for once, amazingly, it was kind of...cute.) And great art, I loved it. I particular dig the way Sludge was drawn, he just looked badass. I do enjoy these little Timelines comics, it's nice being able to read some stuff that is not restrained by any previous continuities, just has free reign and the like. They're good when you just fancy a light read. Which is about all I can manage right now.

I hope I feel at least a bit better by Friday, because I have a whole day of EXTREME SHOPPING planned. Books, comics, clothes, THE LOT! And food, mmmm. Misato's, fuck yeah.
